Nature in the Home :: May Day

I'm so excited that the lovely Lou from Little Green Shed's Nature in the Home series has started again. This week the challenge is all about reviving the ancient tradition of flower baskets, where you (anonymously) leave  posies of flowers on friends and neighbours doorsteps on May Day.

Nature in the home: Simple

This week's Nature in the home challenge from the lovely Lou was Simple. I love how simple these tiny white roses are on the bedroom windowsill overlooking the barley field next to our house. They're from a gorgeous arch shaped bush in the garden, and smell divine!

Nature in the Home: White

Its been a really hectic week this week. I was away for the first half of the week and spent the rest of the week playing catch-up! Charlie had another settling session at his new school (he starts in September), I simply cannot believe how time flies - it seems only yesterday he was a teeny bundle in my arms in hospital! Wow.

I am so late in joining in in the lovely Lou's Nature in the home challenge this week. The theme is white and this collection of foraged hedgerow blooms is my offering. We went for a walk on the farm with the children after supper one evening this week and Edie helped me collect this weeks selection.

Nature in the Home - A Gift

This weeks Nature in the Home challenge from Lou was "a gift". These are a lovely little gift from the garden, the smell divine and I just love the contrast of the deep pink against the green and white petals.

Nature in the home...

I stumbled upon this gorgeous idea from Little Green Shed via the lovely Charmaine from Littlenestbox. Its such a lovely idea, and I'm so excited to join in!  We're always popping a few garden blooms in jugs and jam jars around the house.

These little beauties were found in the field next to the children's nursery, they are a delight in our bedroom :)
